My Story

Hi, I’m Deb.
For over 25 years, I was in the trenches of management, working mainly in the financial services industry. I attended countless leadership workshops, conferences, and training sessions. I was coached, mentored, and trained—and in turn, I became a coach, mentor, and trainer myself. While I climbed the ranks and had a fulfilling career, I often felt I could have had an even greater impact if I had taken more time to focus on mindset, regularly reflect on my progress, and seek ongoing feedback on what I was doing well and where I could improve. I did a lot of things right—and just as many things wrong. When I retired, I wasn’t convinced I had left enough of a footprint.


Then came a pandemic and a whole lot of time to reflect. I found myself asking: What worked best in my leadership journey—and why? What fueled my confidence, and what held me back? What could I have done differently to be more effective? The hindsight may not change my past, but it can help shape your future.


That’s why I created Amazing Managers—to share the lessons I learned (the hard way), the strategies I wish I had known sooner, and the tools to help you become the leader you want to be. I want you to have the confidence, clarity, and impact to leave a Mammoth-sized footprint in your career.
